I am going to give you facts about how the Israelites looked and how many so called "Blacks" in America, as-well as across the world, think that the Israelites are Egyptians. Take a look in the books of Genesis , Exodus, and Acts. In Genesis, it tells us details about Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth's sons, and how the whole world was populated by them after the Flood. Also please understand that the name Egypt was originally given by the Greeks which means "House of Bondage".
What Did The Ancient Israelites Look Like?
Genesis 42:7-8 And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.
8 And Joseph Knew his brethren, but they Knew not him.
(This clearly shows Us that Joseph looked so much like and Egyptian, That his own brothers couldn't distinguish him from them.)
Genesis 43:32-33 And they set on him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might may not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
33 And they sat before him, the fisrtborn according to his birthright, and the youngest according to his youth: and the men marveled one at another.
Precept to Genesis 43:32:
Genesis 46:34 That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
Exodus 8:26 And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
Precept to Exodus 8:26:
Deuteronomy 7:25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
26 Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
(In Genesis43:32, it clearly states that the Egyptians couldn't eat Bread with the Hebrews, because it was considered an abomination to the Egyptians. So that alone lets us know that The Ancient Hebrew Israelites are a separate people from the Egyptians.)
8 And Joseph Knew his brethren, but they Knew not him.

Exodus 4:2-3 And the Most High said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
3 And he said, cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
Exodus 4:6-8 And the Most High said furthermore unto him, Put know thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.
7 And he said, Put thine hand into thine bosom again. And he put his hand in hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom and, and behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.
8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
Precept to Exodus 4:6:
Numbers 12:10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.
2 Kings 5:27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.
Precept to Exodus 4:7:
Numbers 12:13 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.
14 And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
Deuteronomy 32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
2 Kings 5:14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
Matthew 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
(These verses show us that AHAYAH displayed to Moses powerful signs to make the Israelites believe Ahayah sent him. So this clearly shows us that neither Jacob, Joseph and Moses looked like a Caucasian (Edomite), but instead were colored or what most would call "Black")

Acts 21:37-39 And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?
38 Art not thou that Egyptian, Which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?
39 But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
Precept to Acts 21:39:
Philippians 3:5-6 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
Colossians 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
2 Timothy 2:9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
1 Peter 3:15-16 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
(This shows us that Paul was mistaken for a Egyptian. Although the Egyptians were Black, they weren't from the seed of Shem as the Israelites were, but instead from the seed of Ham - Hamites)
