Shalam Israel, It is important to know how to pray. This is the way you should pray when you pray to the Most High. We should pray towards the east towards the Holy land, Jerusalem. To understand which way is the east or towards the Holy land, Jerusalem, look in outside in the morning and see the Sun raising and that's the direction of the east. Which every way the sun raises in your location that's the east.
Which Way To Pray
1 Kings 8:48-49 And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:
49 Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause.
Precept to 1 Kings 8:48:
2 Chronicles 6:38 If they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name:
Psalms 5:7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
(The Most High tells us in verse 48 to pray unto him towards our land, which is the Holy land Jeruslam, Israel. The Holy land is towards the East and with the precepts we get a better understanding of which dirction to pray.)

How to Pray?
Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Precepts to Mark 11:25:
Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as the Most High for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
(We see that we are to stand praying. Standing was their (children of Israel/Jews) usual posture when they prayed to the Most High.)
1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Precepts to 1 Timothy 2:8:
Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Most High of hosts.
(we see that we pray with our arms open.)
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Precept to Matthew 6:6:
2 Kings 4:33 He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the Most High.
Jeremiah 17:10 I the Most High search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Precept to Matthew 6:7:
Ecclesiastes 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before the Most High: for the Most High is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
1 Kings 18:26 And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
Precept to Matthew 6:8:
Psalms 139:2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
(When you pray go into your closet and ask the Father for what you want, but dont talk as long as the heathens do, for the Father knows what you want, so get straight to the point as stated in Ecclesiastes 5:2. When you pray this must be done as secretly as possibly so the father can reward you openly. Don't tell anyway what you have prayed for.)
What to say after you pray?
Matthew 6:9-13 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
(After you have prayed and made your request know unto the Father, say the Holy prayer.)

Men are not to cover there Head when they pray
1 Corinthians 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
(Every man praying or prophesying with is head covered dishonoureth his head.)
1 Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of the Most High: but the woman is the glory of the man.
Precept to 1 Corinthians 11:7:
Genesis 1:26 And the Most High said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
(As stated in the 1 Corinthians 11:7 men aren't to cover there head when they pray. Women are to cover their heads if they are bold head meaning have no hair, because a womans hair is her covering. So if a woman be shaven (no hair on her head) she is instructed to cover her head with a scarf.)
