Shalam to all who seek truth and understanding. Birthdays are regarded and treated like a Holiday, but the truth of the matter is and the question is, are we suppose to be celebrating our Birthdays? Birthdays are the highest of all Satanic holidays. Birthdays are not apart of our heritage but a learned behavior that was given to us by the Gentiles and something we have embraced during our captivity. The Most High God told Jeremiah to tell the children of Israel not to follow after the customs and traditions of the Gentiles/Heathen/Nations, but we as a people are stiff necked and hard headed:
Jeremiah 10:2-3 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen...
3 For the customs of the people are vain:
John 4:22-24 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Birthdays: The Satanic Bible by Anton Lavey
Back in 1969 Anton Lavey wrote The Satanic Bible, and on page 96 on the 1976 version, it mentions birthdays: THE highest of all holidays in the Satanic religion is the date of one’s own birth. This is in direct contradiction to the holy of holy days of other religions, which deify a particular god who has been created in an anthropomorphic form of their own image, thereby showing that the ego is not really buried. The Satanist feels: “Why not really be honest and if you are going to create a god in your image, why not create that god as yourself.” Every man is a god if he chooses to recognize himself as one. So, the Satanist celebrates his own birthday as the most important holiday of the year. After all, aren’t you happier about the fact that you were born than you are about the birth of someone you have never even met? Or for that matter, aside from religious holidays, why pay higher tribute to the birthday of a president or to a date in history than we do to the day we were brought into this greatest of all worlds? Despite the fact that some of us may not have been wanted, or at least were not particularly planned, we’re glad, even if no one else is, that we’re here! You should give yourself a pat on the back, buy yourself whatever you want, treat yourself like the king (or god) that you are, and generally celebrate your birthday with as much pomp and ceremony as possible. |
Kings Of The Bible That Required Death On Their Birthdays
Genesis 40:19-22 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.
20 And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.
21 And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand:
22 But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.
(In Genesis chapter 40 we read that doing the time of Pharaohs birthday he killed the Chief Baker. This is some type of blood sacrifice.)
Matthew 14:6-11 But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.
9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
(Here we read another king had killed a man on his birthday, but this time it was a prophet and that was John the Baptist.)
The Works Of Flavius Josephus Concerning Birthdays
Job Curses His Own Birthday
Job 3:1-6 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.
2 And Job spake, and said, 3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived. 4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it. 5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it. 6 As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months. Cursed - To wish or invoke evil, calamity, injury, or destruction upon. Perish - To be destroyed or die, esp in an untimely way. (We read in Job chapter 3 verse 1 that Job cursed his born day/Birthday. This should allow us to know that we shouldn't be celebrating our birthdays.) |

King Solomon Tells Us That A Mans Death Is Better Than The Day He Was Born
Ecclesiastes 7:1 A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.
Precept to Ecclesiastes 7:1:
Philippians 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
(King Solomon tells us that a mans death is better that one's birth. This should let us know that your birthday is worthless in the eyesight of the Most High God.)

The origin of the Birthday Cake and blowing out Candles?
The history of cakes and candles began in Ancient Greece. The Greeks made round cakes to honor Artemis, the goddess of the moon and the goddess of hunt. They often decorated it with either 1 lit candle or several to represent the glow of the moon. Overtime, other cultures began to make cakes and ate them for their taste, rather than to honor Artemis. Have you ever wondered who the first pyromaniac was to light a cake on fire? The Greeks were credited with putting candles on cakes to represent the glow of the moon. They also believed that the smoke from the lit candles carried their prayers and wishes to their Gods who lived in the skies. Today, many cultures place candles on cakes out of tradition, as well as superstition. Usually, the quantity of candles on a cake is representative to the age being celebrated. The superstition is to make a silent wish and blow out all the candles at one time so the wish comes true. |
Conclusion
If you are a true follower and worshiper of the Most High God through Christ who is the Word then you wouldn't be doing the things of the world nor partaking in them. The problem that most people have when serving the Most High God is that they want to fit in with the World, but the scriptures tells us that those who are friends with the world are enemies with the Most High God. If we are going to repent, then let us sincerely repent and turn away from the ways of this world and serve the Most High God. Birthday celebrations were definitely of pagan origin.
1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
