1 Corinthians 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
Carnal - Fleshy , of or pertaining to the body as the seat of the desires and appetites; usually employed in Scripture in the bad sense, as opposed to spiritual.
(We see that we must abstain from lusts and from following the carnal nature of man. )
1 Corinthians 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
Lusted - to have a yearning or desire; have a strong or excessive craving.
(We should not lust after evil things, like money and the many things of this world or what the wicked have.)
Romans 8:7-8 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Enmity - a feeling or condition of hostility; hatred; ill will; animosity; antagonism.
(We see that the carnal mind is enmity against the Most High, and it is not subject to the law of the Most High neither can it be because it is enmity against the Most High. And those who walk in the flesh cannot please the Most High.)
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Conclusion
The whole conclusion to this study lesson is to let those who come to serve the Most High know that, you cannot serve him in the flesh. We must put off and walk away from the works of the flesh and serve the Most High in the Spirit and truth and scriptures tells us. So I say to you all please do not the works of the flesh but put of the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
