Shalam to all who seek truth and understanding. I will show you through scripture and precepts what John 3:16 really means.
The True Understanding of John 3:16
Easu tells the truth about who the Lord (Christ) came for.
John 3:16 For the Most High so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
World - A particular class of people, with common interests, aims, etc.
Particular - 1. Of or pertaining to a single or specific person, thing, group, class, occasion, etc., rather than to others or all; special rather than general.
2. Distinguished or different from others or from the ordinary; noteworthy; marked; unusual.
3. Specific, peculiar (Exodus 19:5-6, Deuteronomy 26:15-19,1 Peter 2:9, Psalms 135:4,), special, detail, item.

Precept to John 3:16:
2 Esdras 7:10-11 And I said, It is so, the Most High. Then said he unto me, Even so also is Israel's portion.
11 Because for their sakes I made the world: and when Adam transgressed my statutes, then was decreed that now is done.
(For the Most High so love the world, this seems like it is talking about the whole world and all the Nations, this is not. This is talking about the children of israel. If you read the precept to John 3:16 you will see that the world was made for israel sake.)
John 14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
(Judas as the Messiah this "how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?" Notice he said us, Judas was a Israelites and he further said, and not unto the world? So in John 3:16 it isnt talking about the whole world, its talking about a nationality of a people. Continue to read on in this study lesson for more understanding.)
John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
Precept to John 17:9:
1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of the Most High, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
(The Messiah says that he "pray for them and not the world". The Messiah said he pray not for the world. The (them) are the Hebrew Israelites/Jews in which he was sent to redeem them for their sins.)
John 6:37-39 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
Precepts to John 6:37:
Job 8:20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
Isaiah 1:18-19 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Most High: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Jeremiah 31:35 Thus saith the Most High, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Most High of hosts is his name:
Jeremiah 33:25-26 Thus saith the Most High; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Precepts to John 6:38:
Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Precepts to John 6:39:
Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in the Most High.
(In John 6:39 it says "that of all which he hath given me" meaning there is a different between everybody in the Earth and a group of people that the Most High gave to the Messiah and that group of people is the Children of Israel. Then it goes on and give us a clue to who those people are, when it says "but should raise it up again". That word again is very important, because of that people who the Father gave the Messiah he will raise them up again at the last day. In order to be raised up again you had to be up at one point before then taken down. You can't be raised up again if you was never up in the first place. Lets continue to read for more understanding.)
Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the Most High thy power: the Most High thy power hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
(This is Moses speaking to the Children of Israel. It says "above all people that are upon the face of the earth". The word above mean up. So we see that Israel was set up above all the people upon the face of the earth by the Most High. The Nation of Israel received these blessing, but later on fell as a nation due their disobedient. Baruch 2:1-2 Therefore the Most High hath made good his word, which he pronounced against us, and against our judges that judged Israel, and against our kings, and against our princes, and against the men of Israel and Juda,
2 To bring upon us great plagues, such as never happened under the whole heaven, as it came to pass in Jerusalem, according to the things that were written in the law of Moses;
(In Baruch we see that we were Kings, Princes, and Judges of the earth. This also lets us know that we (Nation of Israel) were above all the people upon the face of the earth. Thats why we see the words restore, Thats why in John 17:9 the Messiah said "I pray for them: I pray not for the world,". and in John 6:39 he said "but should raise it up again at the last day", meaning raise the Nation of Israel back again. As we read in Baruch we were up as a Nation, but due to our disobedient and not obey the voice of the Most High we fell as a Nation and all the curses mentioned in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 came upon us for our disobedient.)
Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
(The disciple as the Messiah this question "Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?". Israel was the Nation that was up but fell and that needed to be restored again, thats why the Messiah said in John 17:9 "I pray for them: I pray not for the world,". and in John 6:39 he said "but should raise it up again at the last day", meaning raise the Nation of Israel back up again. We know that John 3:16 isn't talking about everybody in the World, its talking about a group of people. Look at the Definition for the word world. World - A particular class of people, with common interests, aims, etc. Since we know that the word world also means a Particular class of people, with common interests, and aims we know understand thats why the Messiah said in John 17:9 "I pray for them: I pray not for the world, the them is the Nation of Israel".)

Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to the Most High, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Conclusion
The whole conclusion of John 3:16 when it says "For the Most High so loved the world" this cant mean everybody its talking about a specific group of people, and that specific group of people is the Children of Israel. We also know by one of the definition of the word World which mean, A particular class of people, with common interests, aims, etc. I have went through the scriptures and proved who that group of people were and that's the Children of Israel, who are Hebrew Israelites/Jews. Israel is so Holy as a Nation that the Most High created the world for their sake. Also Gentiles meaning the other Nations can obtain Salvation, Click Here to read Gentiles Salvation.
