Shalam, many churches (congregation/assemblies) and people say that the day of the Lord is going to be glorious and that they can't wait. People also say I am just waiting on the Lord to return, but what they fell to realize is that the day of the Lord isn't going to be what people think it will be. Will anyone be singing oh happy day? How will the day of Christ be (the second coming)?
Joel 1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

What can you do to prepare yourself for the Lord (Christ) second coming?

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
(We are suppose to be wacthful and always in prayer that we may be accounted worthy to escape all the evil in these last day.)
Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
(We are suppose to put on the whole armour of the Most High God that we be able to stand agaiant the wiles of the devil in these last days and while serving the Most High God.)

(We are suppose to put on the whole armour of the Most High God that we be able to stand agaiant the wiles of the devil in these last days and while serving the Most High God.)

The whole conclusion of this study lesson is to let people know that the day of the Lord (Messiah) isnt going to be a glorious day like the churches (assemblies/congregation) say it will be, nor will it be a day that you will be rapture off like many believe. People we must stay focus pray and always be watchful, for these are truly the last days.
